The peppermint candy cane he's holding is painted with actual red stripes, tiny detail but it makes the whole thing. Hung him on the tree next to the fireplace and he's already the first ornament guests point out.

The little green scarf on this raccoon is what sold me, and the peppermint candy cane he's holding makes it feel genuinely festive instead of generic. Hung it on the tree next to our mismatched family ornaments and it holds its own.

Bought this for my sister who loves raccoons, and the little guy's grip on the candy cane sold me instantly. He's hanging on my tree now and the scarf detail makes him look genuinely cozy rather than cheap.
